Recent Progress in the $L_p$ Theory for Elliptic and Parabolic Equations with Discontinuous Coefficients

In this paper, we review some results over the last 10-15 years on elliptic and parabolic equations with discontinuous coefficients. We begin with an approach given by N. V. Krylov to parabolic equations in the whole space with $\rm{VMO}_x$ coefficients. We then discuss some subsequent development including elliptic and parabolic equations with coefficients which are allowed to be merely measurable in one or two space directions, weighted $L_p$estimates with Muckenhoupt ($A_p$) weights, non-local elliptic and parabolic equations, as well as fully nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations.     

L1-type smoothness indicators based weighted essentially nonoscillatory scheme for Hamilton-Jacobi equations

This article presents an improved fifth-order finite difference weighted essentially nonoscillatory (WENO) scheme to solve Hamilton-Jacobi equations. A new type of nonlinear weights is introduced with the construction of local smoothness indicators on each local stencil that are measured with the help of generalized undivided differences in L¹-norm. A novel global smoothness measurement is also constructed with the help of local measurements from its linear combination. Numerical experiments are conducted in one- and two-dimensions to demonstrate the performance enhancement, resolution power, numerical accuracy for the proposed scheme, and compared it with the classical WENO scheme.     

Existence of solutions for a higher-order semilinear parabolic equation with singular initial data

We establish the existence of solutions of the Cauchy problem for a higher-order semilinear parabolic equation by introducing a new majorizing kernel. We also study necessary conditions on the initial data for the existence of local-in-time solutions and identify the strongest singularity of the initial data for the solvability of the Cauchy problem.     

Zero dissipation limit to rarefaction wave with vacuum for the one-dimensional non-isentropic micropolar equations

The zero dissipation limit of the one-dimensional non-isentropic micropolar equations is studied in this paper. If the given rarefaction wave which connects to vacuum at one side, a sequence of solution to the micropolar equations can be constructed which converge to the above rarefaction wave with vacuum as the viscosity and the heat conduction coefficient tend to zero. Moreover, the uniform convergence rate is obtained. The key point in our analysis is how to control the degeneracies in the vacuum region in the zero dissipation limit process.     

有耗介质层上多导体传输线的电磁耦合时域分析方法

目前,针对空间电磁场作用有耗介质层上传输线的电磁耦合,仍缺乏有效的数值分析方法.因此,本文提出一种高效的时域混合算法,很好地解决了有耗介质层上传输线电磁耦合建模难的问题.首先,对经典传输线方程进行改进,推导了适用于有耗介质层上多导体传输线电磁耦合分析的修正传输线方程.然后,结合时域有限差分方法和相应插值技术,求解修正传输线方程,获得多导线及其端接负载上的电压和电流响应,并实现空间电磁场辐射与多导线瞬态响应的同步计算.最后,通过相应计算实例的数值模拟,与CST软件的仿真结果进行对比,验证了时域混合算法的正确性和高效性.     

分数阶Schrodinger—Kirchhoff方程无穷多高能量解的存在性

本文研究如下带有变号势函数的分数阶Schrodinger Kirchhoff方程(a+b∫∫R^N|u(x)-u(y)|^p/|x-y|^N+p^sdxdy)^p-1(-△)p^su+λV(x)|u|^p-2u=f(x,u)-μg(x)|u|^q-2u,x∈R^N.其中s∈(0,1),p∈[2,∞),q∈(l,p),a,b>0,λ,μ>0均为正常数,在V,f,g等函数合适的条件下,运用喷泉定理获得该系统无穷多高能量解的存在性.
